He merely takes the word of the few people backstage willing to feed him info, and oftentimes those people are biased or outright liars using Dave to spread misinfo. His reports have no more validity than an issue of the National Inquirer.
I'm sure Dave's report is reflective of some people backstage, but how many and how harshly? We don't know. Dave is merely speculating based on the minimal info he's given mixed with his own personal biases, as is ALWAYS the case with Dave, and why you can't take him seriously.
