I know one night stand was only a few thousand smelly ECW smarks but Cena had nuclear heat. The crowd was so good if you didn’t know any better you would say they were plants. There are ways you could have gotten his heat not at that same level but somewhere on the order of that with the regular WWE fans.
Remember Hulk Was in his final real run and going into the Hall of Fame. he had that worthless program with Orton at Wrestlemania. Give the Hulkster one last huge money match. Have Cena start turning heel and Hogan try and talk some sense into him. Team them up for a while
and then have Cena turn on him and set up one last match and job Hulk the fuck out brutally.
just let Cena use his real personality which is deeply unlikable to most people. Make him the prototype again, whatever. The shit would write itself.
They didn’t go full PG until 08, very easy to turn him face again, just have him say
