If he wasn't such an important part of the division I'd be more worried, but he's one half of the biggest match the division can put on at any moment. Plus, as much as the company is experiencing a wave of younger guys coming in, unless Fujita stays junior long term (he's 5'10", same as Taichi, Shingo, etc, so if he bulks he could probably go hebbyq, possibly before he graduates/returns from excursion) Wato is going to be the last Japanese junior dojo graduate for a while. Which isn't to say that Knight, Akira, Connors, etc. won't get their shots, but it's not like Despy has a whole Super Generation Army on his ass. With Wato already getting his first finals and very possibly his first tournament win its not like one or even multiple Despy wins in the next few years would be perceived like Fujita winning the GHC in 2022.
