Took him 6 years to draw a dime. I understand it wasn't entirely his fault but even if they had turned him heel back in the mid 2010s he just didn't have it, and this isn't just one of those smarkfaggot takes like John Cena le bad, it's just a simple fact. He looked terrible, he couldn't cut a promo for shit etc. didn't deserve any of it. Even his time on top isn't very special, it only lasted a handful of years and it'd be difficult to say he deserves a spot even in the top 15 of all time because he was mostly carried by his booking and story. At least he got really good at promos now and looks better than ever.

He was shit for most of his career desu. Hunter Hearst Helmsley was servicable, the DX run during the attitude era is so forgettable that I couldn't tell you anything he did aside from the earlier days of it because I refreshed my memory a bit recently. He also sucked until the HBK feud and he was at his best imo when he was running with Flair and the rest of Evolution. The DX revival run was funny but that's about it, rivalry with Orton was also pretty memorable but mostly for Orton himself and all I remember past that were the Undertaker matches and the kino Authority run. He's, in all honesty, far from someone I'd put in my top 15 either but he just so happened to be there when all the real stars left and he was the next best thing. I think he easily clears Reigns purely because of his longevity, the fact that he was full time and working upper midcard/main event angles for 10 or so years is commendable, but if you asked me right now if I'd rather have prime HHH be resurrected for another 10 year long run or if I'd rather have tribal chief reigns have a 10 year run I'm going with Reigns 100%
