>Hina is a college student pro wrestler who is active in Stardom alongside her sister Hanan and twin sister Rina. She debuted in 2018 and currently holds the Future of Stardom title, with Hanan and Rina also among the past champions. We spoke to Hina, who chose to balance her career with university life, about the title and her future.
>Only wrestlers under the age of 20 or with less than three years of experience can hold or challenge for the Future of Stardom title. Hina defeated Miyu Amasaki on February 24th of this year to become the 12th champion, a year and nine months later than her twin sister Rina, who debuted and fought in a singles match on the same day. A few days later, Hina posted a photo of her high school graduation on her Instagram with the caption, "I didn't get much results in pro wrestling, though."
>"The truth is, ever since I entered high school, I had been thinking about whether to quit pro wrestling. When I entered high school, the topic of going to college came up in career guidance. I was always wondering whether to go to college or continue wrestling. I wasn't seeing results in pro wrestling, so I thought maybe it just wasn't for me after all. So I thought it might be more efficient to quit pro wrestling and live a new life (laughs).
>Actually, when I won the Future belt, my acceptance into college had already been announced, and I thought that if I didn't win it then, I might quit... but I managed to win the belt, so I said in front of the audience that I would go to college and continue wrestling. When I won the match, a lot of different emotions welled up inside me. I thought it was really good that I continued wrestling, and I also thought that I have to make this belt popular again from now on. For a long time recently, when you think of the Future, it was Rina, so I think I need to work even harder... with the momentum to surpass that."
