>[STARDOM] Hazuki is determined to win the Wonder Championship, fulfilling her "promise" to Kairi, who is "distant but close to her"
>Hazuki (26) of the women's professional wrestling organization Stardom is determined to win the title.
>She will challenge Wonder Champion Natsupoi (29) at the Edion Arena Osaka 1st Stadium event on the 14th. This will be her sixth challenge since her first challenge against then champion Kairi Hojo (now Kairi Sane of WWE) in December 2016. At the signing ceremony held in Tokyo on the 10th, Hazuki declared, "I think this will be my last time (to challenge)."
>Hazuki made her debut in July 2014 and retired in December 2019. After returning in October 2021, she is a talented wrestler who has won the Goddess Championship three times in a tag team with Koguma. "It's a belt I've been thinking about for eight years. The reason I quit once and came back to Stardom was because I wanted to get the white belt (Wonder). This time, I want to be in love with the belt."
>Hazuki has another reason to wear the title. It is a promise she made to Kairi when she first challenged for the title. Hazuki said, "Kairi was the first person I had a title match with, and I thought it was fun. Since then, I've been thinking about that belt. When I come back to Japan, she's friendly, and even though she's far away, she's close to me." In Kairi's send-off match in October last year, they faced off in a six-man tag team. "She told me, 'Make sure you wear the white belt,' and 'You don't have to be shy around (the other wrestlers),' so I have to keep that promise," she said emphatically.
>When asked what she would do after she won the title, she said with sparkling eyes, "I hope that more girls will feel like they want the white belt after fighting Hazuki for the belt, just like I felt in my match with Kairi." Hazuki will achieve her long-held dream.
