Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant is a legitimate spectacle that lives up to the hype as a blockbuster, main event match. Savage vs Steamboat is still the workrate classic but Hogan vs Andre has the better story, psychology, angle, promos, booking, and showmanship. If you get in the right state of mind Andre the Giant is the final boss of Hulkamania and you feel like the Hulkster needed your cheers to overcome the impossible. It is all but unparalleled even to this day.
