>>157761401. TV show quality has slipped, can't get a good advance for a show when the product isn't hot.
2. Compounding this, you can't rely on the "stars" that most people want to see being booked regularly along the lack of announced cards. If you're lucky, you maybe get two weeks notice unless it's a special show where something's already been booked. Otherwise, you're lucky to know half the card by showtime.
3. If there isn't a banger going on, the AEW live event experience kinda blows (atleast from my experience from attending the shows, never had a PPV opportunity). I might enjoy a lot of the product more than WWE, but I've always had a better time going to WWE shows. I don't care that it's more expensive, I do feel like I usually get more bang for my buck.
4. There's more normies at WWE shows. Regardless of 4chan wants to believe, this makes for a more enjoyable experience. You can only tolerate sickos and smarks so much before you want to put a hammer to their skull.
TLDR: I enjoy the shows and I go them when I can, but I understand why people wouldn't want to take a chance and would rather watch it on TV (which is becoming an increasingly bigger problem).
