Poor japanese folk, they already squint so hard, imagine how much their eyes must hurt trying to get a glimpse on what this dying octopus of a flesh pile is doing in the ring and should they cheer or boo it.
Who is on top? Who is winning? This flurry style countering is absolutely pointless because the audience doesn't have any chance to catch a breath to what the fuck is actually going.. there is no time to get invested.
