The rumor is he was injecting ED medication (or recreational drugs into his dick like Harvey Weinstein, and like Weinstein, developed Fornier's Gangrene (look it up) and had to have his genitals amputated, and went home and OD'd.
Fournier's risk factors include:
>diabetes
>hypertension
>alcohol abuse
>spinal cord injury with paraplegia or quadriplegia
>morbid obesity
>immunocompromised
Rude wasn't diabetic, obese, or paralyzed, but had all the other risk factors.
