Cody did the complete opposite of that. We also know that HHH does not like to be put in vulnerable positions, Cody's show beat HHH's show.
Probably from the first phone call this was set up to put Cody in his place. They let him have his cool entrance, they let him win the rumble, and they let him be in the main event. Now they are going to start walking him back down the to the midcard and make him put over people they call up from NXT.
I dont even feel bad for him. He is fucking blind not to see this kind of shit coming. Hes lucky that they don't make him reprise his stardust gimmick. Cody had the chance to be a great heel in AEW, and he put his head so far up his ass that he not going to see the spotlight again.
