I actually quit three times. First got into WWF in like 1985 because of the Hulkamania thing. Lost interest around 1990 or so, no particular reason why. Just got into other things I guess. Got back into it around 1994 and was really a serious fan until the WCW/ECW buyout. I always honestly liked WCW and ECW just as much as the WWF, and it bummed me out to know that all the non-WWF people were either going to have to retire or be horribly humiliated by vince mcmahon. Unfortunately, my initial instinct was mostly correct. Most of the WCW and ECW guys did not fare well in the corporate beast that is WWE. Got back into it in 2021 but hated all the mainstream shit, so I started checking out the various smaller/indy feds. Decided to give WWE another try when haitch took over and I was genuinely liking it for the most part. Yeah there was some cringe but i thought it was very good overall. But then, vince sold out to the jews, and that is the end for me. My last mental images of WWE will be Edge busting open Balor's head and Cody laying in thr ring with a rubber chicken.
