Man do I miss you. Not a day goes by where I don't miss you. I have felt pure emptiness trying to watch wrestling. Sometimes I just play your theme song on repeat to feel something. I see world titles on new wrestlers, & I just get flashbacks, start day dreaming of you holding the title like no other held a title. I have never seen anyone be able to give off electricity from a belt just for holding it a specific way like you did, it brings tears to my eyes. I watched a WWE clip the other day, & I instantly noticed something. I heard the way the wrestling mat vibrated, the way the ringposts made a sound when a wrestler gets slammed onto one. It was unusual. I had to replay it back several times to make sure my ears were indeed smelling the unusualness that I was. It wasn't the typical sound of the wrestlers screaming in agony. It was the wrestling mat, the ringposts, they were screaming. I heard a loud cry. It was a cry for its master. The ringposts, the wrestling mat, the barricades put to protect the audience, all were screaming, for you, Chief. It yearns for you, the wrestling ring has its heartbeat missing, the very thing that allows it to breathe. It wants to be brought to life again, it misses the touch of your sacred feet.
