Supposed police receiving hundreds of police calls about MJFs promo was a lie, AEW and MJF BTFOd!
The quick summary on MJFs promo goes like this:
>MJF got in a high speed car crash while driving his Camaro during high school when his girlfriend was distracting him with oral sex. In order to keep his driver’s license safe from legal consequences, MJF pulled her unconscious body into the driver’s seat to ensure that she would be blamed for the wreck.
>The 434 Facebook page dropped an update to let residents around Nassau know that their police allegedly received a flood of interesting phone calls over MJF’s promo.
Wrestling observers Bryan Alvarez tweeted the following;
>“I don’t know if it was actually over 300, but absolutely 100% they got a bunch of phone calls. That’s not a joke. A bunch of fans legitimately called the Nassau Police Department to report MJF.”
>Initial report was the Nassau Police Department received over 300 phone calls to investigate the matter. The police, however, agreed to launch an investigation but strongly believed that it was a fictional story narrated on a show.
It was considered a wildly successful work...
ESPN’s Marc Raimondi has, however, done further investigation and Tweeted:
>“Not to break kayfabe, but I contacted the Nassau County (N.Y.) PD and reports that hundreds of people have called about the MJF promo from AEW don’t seem to be true.
>The public information officer didn’t know what I was talking about and said such calls would go to his office.
AEW, Tony Khan, Bryan Alvarez, and MJF once again BTFOd!
