I'm 5 years into my real life 1995 save, so the year 2000. I have Bret, Austin, Owen, Nash, The Rock, Paul Wight, Sid and Brian Adams as my current top guys. Have a whole slew of future star midcarders lined up with Edge, Christian, Kane, Jericho, Joe E. Legend, Stasiak, Shane Helms who's got a 90 something star rating for some reason kek, I have a lot of servicable midcarders in Jacques Rougeau, Don Callis, DDP Bart Sawyer, Lance Storm, Corino, Nova, Johnny Smith etc. got a bunch of old guys to put over talent like Ricky Steamboat, Roddy Piper, Jake Roberts, Dan Spivey, Bobby Eaton etc. I've managed to make it to Big size and I'm making 3 milly a month, I have a developmental fed because I bought out Matt Hardy's OMEGA Championship Wrestling and I have a bunch of young stars signed there like Cena, Orton, Batista, Punk etc. So things are basically fun and good.
One thing that I have a huge issue with though is how awful the AI is in this game. They never develop younger talent, they never run feuds, they never abolish stables, it's basically a non competition. WWE has been running the fucking Bodydonnas stable for the past 5 years and one of their biggest stars (Foley) is part of the shitty stable. They also haven't developed any new guys except for the Kurt Angle signing and they keep resigning old shitters like Dutch Mantell for some goddamn reason, their top stars are still Michaels, Taker and Razor and they're still on top for some reason. WCW seems to be signing young guys, they stole Goldberg and Bill DeMott off me as well as a few other guys when I couldn't really match their salaries, but then they ended up just not using them at all. They have fucking 90 something star quality Bill Goldberg jobbing on pre-shows to Al Snow. It really just feels like a breeze. And it isn't just this mod, I tried a high quality real life 2006 mod and the main event to a ppv was John Cena and another big star vs two literal 30 popularity shitters. It's a joke bros.
