Daniel Garcia has quietly become one of the more interesting characters in AEW, and his dance & "Dragon Slayer" have become oddly similar to Naito's Stardust Press and Flair's top rope moves
For those unfamiliar, Daniel Garcia is a young wrestler in AEW (25 y/o) who is booked about 6' 187lbs. So he's not "undersized" but not super big yet either. He has a great backstory of being in an accident & breaking both legs before being signed, but they've stayed away from mentioning it much in AEW. Still, at 25 years old Garcia's an investment.
And it's also really interesting at this point to kinda follow his character thread of what he's been through, and where he might be going.
When first signed to AEW, Garcia was just kinda "some-intense-indie-guy-who-wrestles"... and it clicked with the crowd at least a little bit. Garcia put on some cool matches & connected with the crowd enough to be trusted to [win the ROH pure championship in his hometown](

Garcia was perhaps at his most over when there was an internal struggle between "sports entertainment" and "pro wrestling". Crowds would chant "YOU'RE A WRESTLER" at him consistently hoping he'd stay away from Jericho. Instead, Garcia was adopted in Jericho's stable where developed his character/promo work. But more importantly, he developed [his ridiculous dance taunt which has gotten over a ton.](
