Toga costume research
>Toga, who debuted last year, wears a costume inspired by her ring name. Despite being one of the few to adopt a boyish style in the organization, she remains committed to it and pay close attention to how she appears to fans. Therefore, although this is only her second outfit, it seems likely that she will continue to evolve further in the future.
>The concept of Toga's costume, who debuted last March, is "boyish." In Tokyo Joshi, where many choose to emphasize femininity, she intentionally took the opposite approach. However, she didn't fully lean towards a men's style, and according to Toga, it's "a mix of men's and women's styles." While the image color gray was also considered, Toga says, "It ended up being more subdued than I thought (laughs)." At the same time, she added accent colors like blue and black, which has its pros and cons. Overall, as indicated by the ring name, cool colors are the main theme, and as you can tell from the ring call "Silver Snow Crystal," she placed significant importance on a snowy aesthetic from the time of her debut, with asymmetry being highly emphasized.
>The costume features many asymmetrical parts on the left side, emphasizing this detail despite its subtlety. Due to this emphasis on the right side, there are many highlights on the left side to make the right side stand out. There is also a conscious effort to balance the design diagonally, such as making the right shoulder and left hip similar in design.
>"There are fans who view the ring from the right and those who view it from the left. I don't want everyone to see it the same way; I want there to be a unique view from the right and a unique view from the left, so I make small changes to differentiate the right and left sides."
>Toga also expressed a desire to wear a robe like a hoodie in the future. If that happens, she hopes to release similar designed hoodies as merchandise for fans.
