>[Pro-Wrestling Awards] Rossy Ogawa, President Taro Okada, and Mayu Iwatani meet to discuss "What was that incident about?"
>The miraculous three-shot took place at the "Tokyo Sports Newspaper 2024 Pro Wrestling Awards supported by Nitan Clinic" awards ceremony (8th).
>On this day, Rossy Ogawa (67), president of "Marigold", and Taro Okada (37), president of "Stardom", attended from the world of women's professional wrestling. At the banquet, Ogawa, President Okada, and Mayu Iwatani (31), winner of the Topic Award, of Stardom, met face to face. After exchanging greetings while everyone around them was nervous, they even posed for a commemorative photo.
>In February of last year, Ogawa, who was the executive producer of Stardom at the time, was fired for poaching wrestlers. After that, he launched Marigold with Giulia (now with WWE) and Utami Hayashishita, who had both left Stardom.
>Ogawa said calmly, "I expected to meet with President Okada today. Part of me came (to the awards ceremony) for that reason. We chatted, but I also felt nostalgic, thinking about what that incident was all about. When you live in the professional wrestling world, you don't dwell on the past forever."
>Since Ogawa left Stardom, new wrestlers have been emerging one after another. "Stardom has been reborn, so that's an accomplishment," he said, praising President Okada's skills. "Stardom is a group I created, so it's only natural that I'm concerned about it. I think it may be inspiring me in some way. We may not be as strong as them in terms of organizational strength, but if we steadily build up our footing and are eventually called the 'top two,' that will be a sign of our own progress." He also did not forget to express his competitive spirit.
