Don't listen to NuJapanlets - the current era has some great matches (no not Okada/Omega etc.) but it is nowhere near as kino as 90s-00s New Japan and Japanese combat sports in general.
For instance, they came up with this bizarre claim that Japanese crowds are silent and respectful and that it's part of Japanese wrestling. Watch a show from the 90s and you'll see this is a blatant lie.
