They find someone, regardless of singing ability, make sure they have "the look" and the "x factor"
If they can sing its a bonus, but they don't have to be able to. Being a star is mostly acting now. The days of natural talent like Nirvana, Elton John, etc. are fucking dead. They have been building talent from in house since the 90s
