-What do you think about Nakajima’s choice to reunite AXIZ?
Kenoh: If I had to say…simply put, it’s like he got back together with his ex-girlfriend who dumped him. Isn’t that a bit ridiculous?
-Why do you think he did it?
Kenoh: Nakajima is a man with a massive desire for approval. He can’t stand it if he isn’t shining front and center. Well, I think that’s an important trait for a professional.
Kenoh: I can understand if he wanted to create a new unit by himself because he couldn’t get results in Kongo. But to rehash the AXIZ that he himself finished three years ago…from my point of view, he’s a menhera. It became difficult to stay in Kongo with its strong convictions, so he went back to Go Shiozaki, who is an idiot and listens to everything he says. If I were in Shiozaki’s shoes, I would never trust Nakajima. Shiozaki is too good-natured. He is a good person, but I wonder if that’s why he ultimately lost footing as NOAH’s Ace.
-Those are terrible things to say.
Kenoh: AXIZ, on paper, is destined to be an extremely strong team of two of NOAH’s top wrestlers. But looking deeper, they seem to be a tag team that is slowly killing each other. I wonder what kind of stance Nakajima, who awakened his “natural” side while in Kongo, will take when he returns to AXIZ. I look forward to seeing more from him in the future.
