Most wrestling fans get introduced to it while they are a kid, and as a kid you kind of believe its real. As you get older you see how obviously fake it is, but you start to respect the business and what goes into making everything happen. Understanding how the matches aren't usually planned out step by step, and that they are making it up as they go adds to the excitement. Knowing that it takes years to learn how safely doing the moves and how to make things look like it hurts more than it does. The overall strength and health they need to be in in order to do it is always impressive.
>What’s the main draw? At this point, watching it and then shitposting and discussing the booking decisions and quality of the matches. Usually its making fun of the terrible stuff but every once in a while I get to see a solid match that gets my attention and suspends my belief.
>Which organization should I watch?Try them all out and see what fits you best. AEW and WWE are the two top ones eight now. If you like NWA keep watching it. You could also go watch a season of Lucha Underground, which is more cinematic and a bit tongue in cheek approach to having a wrestling show. If you feel like you are getting into it after a while I would recommend looking into some high rated NJPW matches. The main reason why I recommend it is because it will give you very clear examples of well put together matches, without the help of commentary guiding you through it.
