-Buried Kingston. Eddie was not only the better promo in this feud, he was the better wrestler. It felt like he was one big win away from moving up to the next level on the card. Now he's stuck doing "le sports entertainment" shit with jeribloat for eternity
-Gets a match with Hangman for no reason other than basically just asking for one. There's no storyline reason for the match to happen, he just gets the match. Buries Hangman, just when Hangman was starting to 'find' his character. The REAL reason the match needed to happen is because Forbidden Door is in Chicago, so he wants to have the belt in his heckin hometown (because he is and was always a mark for himself)
-Hasn't done jack shit for viewership, considering his cost. The demo is doing worse, so we can't cope with that anymore
When AEW first started, it had some bad shit for sure. But it felt like a real alternative to WWE. Now it doesn't feel that way anymore. Between shit like Punk being shoved down our throats, and signing WAY too many fucking talents (most of which are shitters), the show is a fucking MESS and it all led up to this moment
