Drew was always suppose to be obsessed with Punk, but it would be Punk that won elimination chamber to face Seth at mania. Punk would've beat Seth, but then would be beaten down by Drew which would lead to the Damian cash in. Punk's injury caused Drew and Punk's places to switch in regards to the match, but with Drew still being obsessed with Punk.
