There have been a few times recently on Dynamite where a (really good) promo has the crowd utterly enraptured, with pretty much everyone in silence listening intently, only for some idiot to shout some nonsense, usually snarky pish.
This was especially apparent during a couple of Punk's promos before Revolution (and, thankfully, he totally ignored it) and Eddie Kingston's promo on Wednesday (which he brilliantly shut down). The folk who wait for silence to shout their crap probably won't read this. Those who do almost certainly won't care. But if even one of them does, then please my dude, stop. No one likes it. Who is it for? It's not for anyone in the crowd except maybe one or two of your friends. The majority of the crowd think you're a dick. It's not for the wrestlers, and they often won't hear it anyway. They almost certainly think you're a dick. Why do you do it? In some indy shows I sort of get it, as everyone can hear it, including the wrestlers, and the shouts are probably more niche, relevant and amusing. Whilst not exactly encouraged, I think they might be accepted to a degree. But these are the exceptions and many are still daft rubbish that no one wants to hear. Please, shut up
