Though she was pushed as a megastar, her segments usually tanked. Her match against Ruby Soho at the Arthur Ashe Stadium killed the ratings. That should have been Rosa vs. Baker II, as the outcome wouldn't have been too predictable. Speaking of Rosa, Baker's main event against Rosa, the Lights Out Match, also tanked—which is a pity because it was a decent little match. So did her cage match. The attempts at the beginning to make her a mega babyface completely backfired, and she only started to find some purchase when Shida busted her open. Then she started doing her dimes "Role Model" character, which was legitimately entertaining. But even when other women were meant to be the focus, all attention was on Baker. Add in the different factors already mentioned, including her ego, and it's not hard to see why things are not going well for her.
