>>8193584The Bucks meanwhile, are now throwing a tantrum because the Briscos are coming back again/getting a big fucking PPV payday that is more than anything the Bucks have seen so far (literally the sort of payday an irresponsible with money millionaire who desperately wants people to do as the millinaire demands can fork out) and that Tony even had someone mention them on the air to announce the match. This on top of Tony point blank telling them that the "Best of Seven" match was the worst mistake he's made in the time he's been running AEW, given how it's decimated the ratings like it has combined with Tony point blank dropping the bomb on Omega/Bucks that he's called Punk up and told him straight up, he wants to keep Punk and that he wanted a "time out" on buying out his contract in hopes that they can reconcile and come to an arrangement.
So now Tony has to figure out a way to keep FTR on TV with them not being champion while dealing with having promised to pull the ROH guys and their air time. He desperately wants to keep FTR for the obvious reasons of ass covering (since FTR have threatened to out what a horrible place AEW is and all of the bad behind the scenes shit Tony and the Elite have been into). But the Bucks are dead set on making the next couple of months a living hell to get rid of FTR, since they truly can't fucking stand them due to their petty fucking jealousy.
And speaking of jealousy, MJF was supposed to win the battle royal tonight. Not Ricky Starks. Omega and Jericho kept pushing Tony that it "would make sense for MJF to enter and win the battle royal to avoid facing anyone". Which is their way to saying, "we want to bury MJF by turning him into Ronnie Garvin 2.0 and have him never defend the belt so one of us or Page, beats him for it once we finalize the purge of CM Punk.
