Netflix paid 5 billion for WWE's entire back catalog, all future live PPVs, Raw, Smackdown and NXT, and original series like Unreal. That's 5 billion to own WWE globally. Only in the US did they split Smackdown, NXT and PPVs to other streaming services.
5 billion for all WWE programming across the globe is not a flex at all. WWE used to have individual rights deals for each show across different countries.
5 billion just got Raw sounds impressive. But I'm afraid that's not what happened.
