Edrones and fed affiliated media have spent months saying TNA was coming for the number 2. Even some TNA fans started to believe it and bought into the idea and feel hard done by the AEW partnership during the pandemic even though TNA was pulling in about 80k while AEW was doing 800k+ and the companies were nowhere near equals. TNA fans were warned WWE are using them to try and hurt AEW, but they refused to listen and are coping massively that WWE actually care about them when all they've done is send AJ Styles out to wave a few times and a bunch on NXT jobbers. AEW fans are just giving some shit back and bantering the dopes who said they should be worried. Unfortunately TNA are caught in the middle of all this, but it's kinda hard to feel bad for some of them with how deluded they are. Like in all this time I don't think I saw one TNA fan who said "let's be serious, there's a long way to go before we can be a viable company, never mind the number 2" most of them genuinely seemed to believe that 10 milly from AMC was going to change the game when Tony probably pays Mox that a year.
