>>13323889I'd take the bad that came with that good all over again any day. I get it's not anything unique and everyone thinks the time they grew up in was the best ever but man... It was so fucking fun. Wrestling was so pervasive. You'd see kids wearing shirts at school. You couldn't walk through any mall without seeing a kiosk selling wrestling shit. Even at the dollar store you'd see WWF lollipops at the checkout. Sticker machines in every store everywhere. The ice cream bars. Magazines. It was part of pop culture that just doesn't exist anymore now that everything is so segmented and everyone can just build their own bubbles of whatever they like and keep to them. It's actually really cool to hear that you do feel that way because that shows that it wasn't just a 'you had to be there to get it' sort of thing
