Ciampa was injured much of the time and when he was there he was never really in the main event until Shawn put the NXT title on him when 2.0 started. Shayna was called up soon after the TV deal began. Even Gargano wasn't to blame as he spent a lot of time as a chickenshit heel in The Way.
The REAL and honest to God reason NXT died was because of Hunters need to shove Adam Cole and the lollipop guild down our throats endlessly. Adam Cole, Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly constantly being champions was the MAIN reason why NXT black and gold failed. But now they're in AEW preventing them from getting no milly and on 7 year contracts so they won't be ruining WWE anytime soon if ever.
