I think those half dozen paintball and skateboarding threads sonehow tethered us to reality or something. we had schizos, no doubt, but it was common to have good threads about wrestling back then.
now every thread can't last 10 posts before somone starts spamming something not related to wrestling at all and replying to themselves a dozen times about something nnever related to the topic, usually either ver pro AEW or anti AEW.
I think AEW existing has also made the problem worse. Its quality as a company itself completely aside, the worst, most retarded, most antisocial wrestling fans have made their personalities "WWE good" or "WWE bad" and AEW allows them to, I almost want to say, live out their fantasies of "sticking it" to whoever is the bad guy in their fantasy world
