They also had nowhere near $250 million in revenue. TV deal is what, $45 million, and Wembley was $10 million. Where the fuck can anybody point to that made up the other $195 million? Selling 6000 tickets a week? 52 weeks at an average of $50 a ticket, well that would get them another $15 million. Where did the other $180 million come from AEWTIST?
It is also important to note that revenue means absolutely nothing when ignoring cost. AEW didn't profit, Tony himself said they lost money. If they lost $36 million ins 2023, that means they spent $286 million in 2023.
See how that works? Revenue ≠ Profit. Nobody in the entire world would pay $2 Billion to buy a company losing $3 million a month. Shit company is only worth what somebody would pay for it, which is not $2 Billion.
