It would relieve a lot of tension that's built up in the AEW fanbase, it would put less pressure on AEW's stars to always go 100mph, they'll learn how to perform in 2nd/3rd gear for long stretches. Because it's ultimately about the fans, hundreds of thousands, it's not about the 1 singular mark in San Jose. It's hard to convince fans to buy tickets when they have no idea who they're going to see in action or who has that week/month off.
It kind of sucks that WWE is scaling back on house shows at a time where AEW is scaling back on dates altogether (lots of combo Dynamite/Collision tapings, or same-day/next-day in the same city), so there's much less total WWE/AEW shows to go to in the US/Canada and prices are rising much faster than inflation. We'll have to see what happens as far as both companies broadcasting more events and having more material available. I make fun of ROH because of course I do, but it would be quite cool if they could get a deal, even in a bad timeslot or crappy channel. The true fans will find a way to get it on their TV if they really want it.
