>>11686080As I said in a few threads and this one: Vince Derangement Syndrome can get you so far before it runs its course. The original premise of the company was to be an alternative to Vince and help showcase the very guys that he would have turned down or treated like jokes. They just didn't count on the guys running it were jokes themselves that rode the coat tails of NJPW's top gaijin and the man running it was a dumbass money mark who has no clue how to run a wrestling promotion, book properly or have a spine to handle his own employees acting like manlets/manchildren (see Brawl Out). Once Vince left for the brief stint and now gave up control to TKO, VDS is not necessarily a valid excuse now and AEW has effectively become WWE-Lite; a poor man's copy of the very promotion that they hated and wanted to be different from the getgo, but with trashier talent and obviously glaring problems.
Plus, the SJW wing of the AEW Stans are chronic complainers. They only look up to other chronic complainers who at least have some form of attention or money since they associate themselves. Once someone comes along to challenge it or calls out how pathetic the chronic complainers are, they treat it like a personal attack against their soul and complain even more.
Finally, the shitposters of this board do not entirely reflect AEW or WWE's diehard fanbases. I was once an AEW faithful, but it all began with the end of 2019 angle with the Dark Order attacking The Elite and then various bad decisions, matches, talent and stan responses let me to want that promotion to burn.
