>>16148431Arnold and Stallone chose roles very carefully, regardless, they were still in some dogshit movies because the final result relies on the director, producers, etc. One example famously made by script writers is that the original script for Godzilla (1998) was great, but they did a dogshit job of making it. There was also hijinx between Stallone and Arnold, as they were very competitive, for example, Arnold spread fake reports that he wanted the role for Stop or my Mom will Shoot, knowing it would be dogshit, and that caused Stallone to be worked into jumping on taking the role. The movie Judge Dredd also had a good original plan but the director was a nutcase.
