We all wanted a good alternative to WWE's trash and AEW seemed like that was going to be it. A billionaire's son who loved wrestling and could actually sway big talent to come to his company. But he fucked up tremendously and has no actual clue how to run a business or promotion. He's also way too big of a pussy or nice guy to be a real boss.
It's sad but true. There are very little people who actually like AEW anymore and the ones that are left refuse to admit the myriad of issues that plague the company and will until its inevitable demise. I truly wanted AEW to succeed, too. I still want them around because wrestlers can get paid outside of the WWE sphere. And that's a good thing. But to deny that AEW sucks is just being a cultist. And I'm not an e-drone, I despised WWE at the time of AEW's creation. WWE got better, AEW got worse.
