With the nature of the internet/social media and rage generating clicks, the several back-to-back Vince scandals, and the downturn in AEW'S quality around the the same time as all the Brawl In/Brawl Out shit, it finally became worthwhile for people to pretend like WWE was good. Anyone who was not a brainwashed e-drone knew the monotonous bloodline shit was not nearly as good as it was being gassed up to be online, neither was Cody's 'story', and the shows were still 3 hour long slogs through slop.
AEW quality has finally rebounded over the last six months or so, WWE is still overly sanitized corpo dogshit, and TKO is going to extreme lengths with their greed to water down a product that's already unwatchable to anyone that's not fully indoctrinated. The tide of public opinion is slow to change, but it is changing.
