Imagine someone listing all the shit a mass murdering, serial killing pyscho has done and a rando adding "And he mistreats women!". Quinn's story showed that she was basically crazy to begin with. That everyone is that close. It's TAS doing a rift on the core concept of The Killing Joke except in Quinn's case she isn't able to resist it like Gordon. She gives in and goes nuts. That's her character. Now she is just some low budget Halloween costume with "lesbian" shoehorned in for good measure.
