It's funny to blame Hang ma'am I get it but it's the same as blaming any singular champ of a show in any company for the entire shows low ratings, and it just doesn't hold water.
You see, you got champ, he's the face of the company and all but he's on this 2-3 hour show maybe for 15 min segment + 25 minute match for entrances weekly if he's really heavily workrate and heavily booked - lets say it's roughly half an hour of entrance merchanting and setting up next PLE. that'll leave 1 ½ or 2 ½ of show to fucking draw with the rest of the talent, the next guys going for the belt, the under card, the women... you see where I am getting at? A show can survive a shitty 30 minute segment and a muppet of a champ for a while but I don't think even a great champ could hold the show up for it's full duration if the rest of the show sucks balls.
The issues of AEW aren't just Hangmadam's to bare, it's a deeper problems in the booking.
