A couple years ago, a tranny who used to write for DC pitched a story where he wanted Superboy to come out as transgender, and change his name from Connor to Connie Kent. DC obviously did not approve. They let him write a one issue Superboy story, but afterwords he claimed he slipped in all these little Easter eggs relating to the story he really wanted to tell.
Obviously he's blacklisted from DC now. Last I saw he was begging for money on GoFundMe because he spent all his savings having his penis removed.
