His whole AEW persona has been based on him being a washed up alcoholic who was the last of his generation to "make" it and is fighting time to honor his childhood Nipponese budokan warrior heroes while the wheels fall off. I like Eddie but he hasn't even been in AEW for 6 years yet, I doubt there's another 6 years left of juice in him playing the old drunk as he gets older and drunker.
