Scalpers did well.
Those same two events were bloodbaths for scalpers the second time around. That's one of the big reasons you see AEW ticket sales sagging. The scalpers took a bath and got out.
This is their first UK show, the sheer uniqueness of the event (and its presence in a new market) should - on paper - provide an opportunity for the secondary market. But this is also why they aren't selling the full capacity of the stadium - to ensure a "floor" demand level so they don't burn the scalpers like they did in the US.
I think there will be some interest on the secondary for Punk's return, but that's going to be the sawn song.
