Triple H is on Raw introducing a new title because no one is going over Roman and he’s on vacation half the time, meaning Roman won’t regularly defend the titles.

So why not just give the title to the guy selling out house shows, appearing on Raw every week who is ready and willing to defend the title in a high school parking lot if it’s asked of him.

Roman clearly has too much leverage on the WWE. He’s their top draw without a doubt. But if your top guy is giving you trouble, why keep the belts on him instead of giving it to the next best guy?

Is Roman actually worth making the rest of your roster look like idiots for chasing a participation trophy? Is Roman worth devaluing the (no longer) undisputed title proudly? Is Roman worth the money you’re paying him to work only ever other PPV with the occasional Smackdown or Raw peppered in?

Or is his time as champion starting to become more of a liability than an asset?
