Wrestling will not be that popular without a significant cultural shift taking place. Considering the present shift is the abandonment of tradition, titles, and roles in favor of one’s own personal affinity towards others, I really don’t see another boom period for this interest any time soon. Honestly, I envision more of a decline as violence and combat begin to take more of a backseat to sexuality and union.
