I think that's the main problem when you focus too much on storytelling in a wrestling show. In storytelling everything has to make sense, everything has to have a pay off, it becomes less real. That's why we all know Zelina is gonna lose, it doesn't make sense story wise. If the booking was less storytelling oriented and more "reality" oriented you could get away with swerves, upsets, surprise wins or predictable wins because reality doesn't have to make sense.
