Jake has always been a mess my entire life. I wonder if growing up watching him at his peak would change my perception of him. Like Scott Hall, he's clearly pretty great all around as a wrestler, but all I think about when I see his face is him being loaded on the indies. Actually, Scott at least had a decent match with Stone Cold at the tail end of his career that I was able to watch in real time. It's sort of like the Michael Jackson thing where he's the king of pop, the best part of Vice City, but if you're a 2000s kid (born 1995) the guy was a consensus freak who looked like the girl from iCarly your entire life. It's tough to beat that.
