This though. Like cool that he bought it. But I think any value left in the brand existed in its history and its tapes. Continuing it on feels very WWECW (in regard to actual ECW, not the based third brand it became despite the name) and is only prolonging ROH looking bottom barrel. It's never going to be portrayed as am equal or greater to AEW so it's already hit its ceiling

It's an okay show, but seeing some of the low-card crap that makes it onto Dynamite and Rampage, it really doesn't strike me as the most efficient use for people like Claudio and Athena (who has been doing a great job as a heel). It basically feels like Dark+, somewhere between Dark and Rampage.

Buying the tapes wasn't the worst business move on Tony's part but there's no way keeping ROH alive is ever going to be profitable, especially when Tony isn't even doing anything to have ROH feel different from AEW.

Yeah. Really, who was asking for its resurrection? Who was it for? It wasn't like WCW or ECW which still had a lot of fans. It was basically dead and buried and its spot taken by multiple promotions fans had long moved onto.
