Would it be possible to sue AEW for misrepresentation or some other illegal business practices? They're clearly making up attendance numbers, PPV buys and everything else. Isn't it illegal for companies to lie?

Unironically, in the United States if you gambled on their attendance numbers being low and lost over 75K, you'd be able to sue in federal court, and be able to subpoena their real ticket sales attendance during discovery.

I care because he's lying to the wrestling community and inflating these numbers to make the company appear bigger than it is. It directly harms us as consumers and it directly harms other wrestling promotions via their reputation. These lies have real world consequences and there should be some sort of recourse for that.

So you have no actual proof then and all you have is deranged headcanon.
Imagine letting something as insignifcant in the grand scheme of life as ticket sales for a fake fighting show cause you to completely and totally break from base reality.
Drones are a shoo in for KWABOTY 2023 with this weeks long meltdown at this point.
Imagine if AEW fans stooped to this low of deranged conspiracy headcanon about Mania ticket sales/Clash at the Castle ticket sales.
Neither of those events generated the level of psychopathic reality denying that this Wembley ticket sale did. It's absolutely unhinged shit. I'd be ashamed to call myself a WWE fan seeing how the most vocal and insane re reacting to this.
