He turned heel because the EVPs realised that they have nothing to do on TV so they are booking themselves into the annual stipulation match and don't want to wrestle punk so BCC have to turn heel, Hangman needs to have his badly booked entire run in aew undone in one, botched TV segment to reunite the group, all so they can play top babyfaces without any actual build or any demand to see any of this.

I mean the answered the open challenges, they cut promos on eachother, QT and Hobbs challenged for their tag belts, Hobbs eliminated them in the battle royale this week. It's not a particularly strong but it's AEW so this is definitely Tony's idea of feud

Wardlow had more of a feud then lucha bros. The promos are just a general thing to hype up their challenge so there is at least something in the match. A series of matches doesn't necessarily mean a feud. At least not in aew
